Bio
Timothy “Doc B” Brininger has a Bachelor of Science degree from Wheeling Jesuit University. He completed medical school at Ohio State University College of Medicine and his Internship and Family Medicine Residency at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. After growing up as a farm kid in rural Ohio, Dr. Bringer went on to medical school and then into active duty military service. His military service led to serving two years in Guam and two years in Utah.
After completing his Family Practice residency in Pennsylvania, “Doc B” spent the next 21 years in rural Idaho practicing full-spectrum Family Medicine and Obstetrics. After about two years of teaching in a family practice residency, he decided to return to his roots and resume full-spectrum Family Medicine with a focus in Obstetrics here in Raton.
Dr. Brininger is passionate about providing full-spectrum Family Medicine, starting with conception/birth and continuing through the end of life. He loves the opportunity to interact with people and to help them improve their health. Dr. Brininger believes that eating right, exercising, and not smoking really do make a huge difference in your health.
When “Doc B” isn’t working or serving his country, he enjoys spending time with his grown children, water sports, hiking in the summer with his wife, traveling, and working on his house. Dr. Brininger, and his wife, also have a rescue dog who expects to walk at least 5 miles a day.
Dr. Brininger is currently taking new Obstetrical patients as well as new Primary Care patients in support of his passion to practice full-spectrum medicine.
